Your team
As Senior Manager, General Ledger, you will co-lead the monthly and quarterly close process, ensure the integrity of the general ledger across multiple entities, and help build a reporting environment that meets future public company standards. Reporting directly to the Chief Accountant, and working closely with the Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and other staff, you’ll ensure high-quality, audit-ready accounting data and documentation.
Your mission
  • GL Close Leadership: Lead key components of the global general ledger close process, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • ERP Data Management: Oversee transactional data input and integrity within the NetSuite ERP system.
  • Process Coordination: Collaborate with accounting staff to manage process governance and task allocation across multiple legal entities.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to IFRS and internal control standards throughout all accounting operations.
  • Financial Analysis Support: Partner with the FP&A team to support variance analysis and actuals reconciliation.
  • Audit & IPO Readiness: Own the preparation of documentation and schedules for external audits and IPO-related activities.
  • Process Improvement: Drive enhancements and automation of general ledger processes within NetSuite.
  • Audit Trail & Documentation: Maintain clear, structured audit trails and comprehensive documentation across all accounting procedures.
Your skills
  • Experience: 6–10+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, with exposure to complex, multi-entity environments.
  • ERP & Technical Skills: Proven NetSuite expertise and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Accounting Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS and HGB; experience with public company reporting or IPO preparation is a plus.
  • Hands-On Approach: Detail-oriented and comfortable taking ownership of intricate accounting processes.
  • Process Optimization: Process-driven mindset with a proven track record of improving workflows and maintaining strong documentation.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, audit, and cross-functional teams.
