Information Security Governance Specialist (all)

Our Security team is looking for an Information Security Governance Specialist (all)
Join us and be responsible for information security within our company, coaching teams on the subject-matter, align information security requirements with our customers and partners, and monitor the compliance of the processes with information security standards and regulations. 
This role can be in our Riga or Cologne office, hybrid and remote mode are supported.
Your mission
  • You develop, implement, and maintain the information security governance framework, policies, and procedures
  • You ensure that the company is compliant with relevant information security regulations and standards (e.g. TKG/TTDSG, GDPR, UrhG)
  • You ensure compliance with governance requirements of our business partners and customers
  • You conduct regular information security risk assessments and develop strategies for mitigating risks
  • You develop and implement information security awareness program to ensure all employees are aware of the importance of information security
  • You work with other members of the security team to ensure that all information security incidents are effectively managed
  • You collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to develop and implement information security strategies that are aligned with business goals
  • You provide guidance and support to other members of the security team and other departments as needed
  • You keep up to date with emerging information security trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvement
Your skills
  • You have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • You have minimum of 5 years of experience in information security governance, risk management, or compliance
  • You have strong knowledge of security regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team
  • You have the relevant information security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are preferred
  • You have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • You have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
  • You are fluent in English. German language skills are a strong plus.
