DevSecOps Specialist (all) - Latvia or Germany

Your team
Our Security team is looking for a DecSecOps Specialist (m/f/d). 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevSecOps Specialist to join our team. You will work closely with our software developers, DevOps team and security professionals, sharing your expertise to enhance our DevSecOps culture.
This role can be located in our Riga or Cologne office, in hybrid mode. The potential candidate should be willing to work from office at least 1-2 days per week.
Your mission
  • You define DevSecOps principles and spread the DevSecOps culture throughout the company
  • You are a single point of contact for security and compliance enquiries, new technologies, development tools, libraries and frameworks
  • You actively participate in architecture, change and release management
  • You maintain and automate security tool stack for DevSecOps, integrating it into IT development and IT operations processes
  • You review and recommend security improvements for new and existing environments
  • You triage, handle and escalate security issues in the team
  • You design and implement automation solutions in CI/CD pipelines
  • You simplify complex technical processes and improve workflow efficiency
  • You create and maintain technical documentation for use by other teams
  • You report security issues and solicit feedback from stakeholders
  • You quickly troubleshoot and resolve problems, communicate status, root cause, and resolutions
Your skills
  • You are proficient in Linux administration, including bash scripting
  • You have experience with AWS cloud environments and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS)
  • You possess solid understanding of Networking concepts
  • You have experience using SAST, DAST and IAST 
  • You have experience in working with and mentoring developers
  • You have experience with image vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Clair, Anchore)
  • You have experience with encryption and key management in AWS
  • You possess strong understanding of and experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Argo CD)
  • You are able to code in at least one programming language ( Python, Go, Java);
  • You have knowledge of IaC (infrastructure as code), automating infrastructure and configuration management tools e.g. CDK, Terraform, Ansible
  • You are familiar with monitoring tools and practices (e.g. CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
  • Relevant security certifications are a plus, e.g. AWS Certified Security – Specialty, OCSP, CKS, CCSP or CSSLP
